The userland exploit which was found after month of work has been handed over to Chronic Dev Team by Pod2G. According to the iOS hacker, people who are waiting for iOS 5.0.1 untethered JailBreak on A4 devices have nothing to do with A5. Till the time, he sort out the issues he has been facing with iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, Chronic DevTeam would make the untethered JailBreak available for us soon.
Things are pretty much clear that Chronic DevTeam would either integrate the userland based exploit on Greenpois0n or develop another tool. However, the probability of the former is certainly more. Chronic DevTeam has previously found 5 different userland exploits which were unknowingly killed by Apple in upcoming updates.
We really hope that Chronic DevTeam has already started work on it. In addition to it, they had been constantly trying to find another exploit through a crash reporter tool which they released few days ago. Pod2G has taken the right step at right time before Apple could patch it in iOS 5.1 final. Now, all we can do is to wait for the release.
Are you waiting for it?
